Submit a company for review

Submit a completed onboarding to Everee for review.

Use this endpoint when readiness.complete is true to hand the onboarding to Everee for review. The status becomes UNDER_REVIEW and Everee begins verifying the company and its people.

📘

Part of Submission and status. For how this fits into onboarding, see the guide: Submitting for review: submit.

Before you submit

Everything in readiness.missing has to be done, including the two steps that happen in the hosted experience: the signer signing the contract documents and selecting the funding bank account (see Create a contract signing session). Signing locks the company data, and submitting is what follows signing.

What happens

  • The status moves to UNDER_REVIEW. From here, data is locked. The only changes are the ones Everee's review requests ask for (see List review requests) and contact corrections.
  • Identity checks begin for the control person, the beneficial owners and, when applicable, the signer. Track them under identityVerification in Retrieve onboarding status.
  • Submitting is idempotent: if the onboarding is already UNDER_REVIEW, it returns the current status and changes nothing.
