Create a cost center

Creates a new cost center type, which you can then use to code wages to clients, jobs, departments, or anything else you need to track.

A unique key for the cost center. You'll use it as the type of cost center entries in the costCenters properties of shifts, payable items, and other wage items. Letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens only; no spaces. Case-sensitive. Can't be changed after the cost center is created. Keys of archived cost centers can't be reused.

The human-readable name Everee displays for this cost center in the admin portal and in reports.

The slot to create the cost center in: 1, 2, or 3. Everee shows it as "Cost Center 1", "Cost Center 2", or "Cost Center 3" in the admin portal and in reports. The slot must not be in use by another active cost center.
