This endpoint returns the list of Workers' Compensation class codes that have been configured in the current company instance.

A WC class represents a category of work performed by a company's staff, for instance "Hospital: Professional Employees". Employers are legally required to pay for Workers' Compensation insurance, and must calculate their premium liability based on the hours worked by staff in each category of work.

That often means that you'll need to specify which WC class to attach to each entry on a worker's timesheet when sending the hours to Everee for payroll processing. That allows us to automatically calculate the correct WC premium for those hours.

WC classes typically have one alphanumeric code for each job type, and each code can exist in multiple states. In the list of classes returned by this endpoint, there are separate entries for each class in each state.

If a class doesn't exist in Everee for a certain state, you won't be able to attach it to timesheets or payable items for work performed in that state. Instead, you'll receive an error telling you that no WC class with that code exists in that state.
